How One (Happy) Dog Celebrates a BlogPaws Best New Pet Blog Win

Do you have a C-O-E in your family? Not only is our happy-go-lucky goldendoodle the inspiration behind Happy-Go-Doodle, Chloe is the biggest C-O-E ever! That is…

Celebrator Of Everything!

Walk? Happy to!

Ride? Love it!

Bath? The best! (Water from a faucet is fabulous!)

Being enthusiastic, optimistic, and joyful is Chloe’s nature. So naturally, our kiddoodle was all smiles and a whirl of furry fun as she bounded down the stairs after hearing her two favorite words: “load up!”  Our family, Chloe included, was headed to one of our favorite restaurants to celebrate some good news:

This was a moment to celebrate! In a little over six months, Chloe and I (the hands and paws behind Happy-Go-Doodle) had…

  • Created the Happy-Go-Doodle brand, launched our blog, and developed a social media presence.
  • Been honored and recognized by BlogPaws, an amazing community of people who share our passion for pets and the people who love them.
  • Attended our first BlogPaws social media conference in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
  • Shared joy with others through Chloe’s fun adventures.

Also, it was a moment to give thanks for our incredibly supportive family, for new blogging friends, for BlogPaws, and for each and every person who had ever enjoyed our blog or smiled at even one of our social media pics. (Maybe that’s you!)  Sharing this happy time as a family made it even more memorable.

The fun began when we arrived at Lidia’s, a pet-friendly restaurant situated in a former railroad house near Kansas City’s Union Station. Chloe waited politely (her nose doing a happy dance) at the entrance.

We sat outside on the red-bricked patio for a leisurely lunch. It felt like a little getaway.

Toasting glasses with text 'cheers"

While we toasted, Chloe snuggled by our feet underneath the table. Except for those moments when…

…a nose popped up to check things out. But who wouldn’t?  The aroma of garden vegetables, fresh herbs, and Italian spices mixed with sunshine and fresh flowers smelled so good!

Our family laughed and caught up on daily life, we chatted with our server about our shared love for dogs, and we gave Chloe plenty of pats and love.

Finally, we made a toast to Chloe…and to all pets who share smiles, inspiration, fun, and happiness with people. They are all our Celebrators of Everything!

Thank you for following along with us on Chloe’s celebration. We’ll share more highlights from the BlogPaws conference soon.
